Each year Phoenix Canstruction, in conjunction with the Arizona Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, invite local Phoenix architects, engineers, contractors, design firms and schools of design to participate in this unique effort. Canstruction® is an international community service event, where design teams compete to build structures entirely out of canned food! Canstruction® offers our design community the opportunity to exhibit our imagination and creativity while also demonstrating our concern for the less fortunate members of our state. Through this event, the Phoenix design community can be a catalyst for positive change in our own backyard.
Since our inception in Arizona, Phoenix Canstruction® has provided over 400,000 pounds of canned food for those in need across Arizona through St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, the world’s first food bank.
Wherever a Canstruction® competition is held, thousands of hungry people are fed, an awareness of the issues surrounding hunger are highlighted publicly, and a spotlight is placed on the design and construction industry as we give back to our local communities. We truly look forward to your generous support and participation for this wonderful event. We hope that you will rise to meet our challenge to “CANstruct a World without Hunger.” Together, we CAN erase hunger, one CAN at a time!
2018 Canstruction Dates: TBD
Looking forward to another CANtastic year!
